Leeann Tweeden Instagram – We took a day trip to the Big Island so the kids could see a volcano. We went to see Kilauea, which until March 7th, had been erupting for 61 days. It is the most active volcano in the world.
We learned about the creation of the islands, about the goddess Pele (the goddess of volcanoes and fire) and how the island ecosystem has changed over the years.
