I really want to spend more time on roof tops in New York, there are definitely worse places to spend time!
I am not so sure about self portraits though, they have this aspect of self-consciousness which is scary. Analogue photography skips the part of self control in pictures, it is more about a moment, a human and a feeling that you want to preserve. The beauty to forget about the film and all the memories that overwhelm you when you finally develop the pictures.
But it is still some kind of capturing a self…. well… in a windy moment it might be ok to feel the need to capture yourself. Who knows what it brings next. The wind, and the self. | Posted on 25/Mar/2024 00:17:11
