Lily Brooks O’Briant Instagram – Student highlight: Lily Brooks O’Briant Lily Brooks O’Briant is a 17-year-old actress, singer, and songwriter originally from Memphis, TN, and began her career in Musical Theatre, portraying the role of ‘Matilda’ at age 9 on the national Broadway tour of ‘Matilda the Musical.’ She fell in love with music, singing, and performing. After experiencing her first heartbreak, Lily Brooks poured all of her feelings into songwriting. Pain, anger, sadness, regret, uncertainty, and even new love, hope, and fear are all themes in her music.
