Linda Burney Instagram – Aunty Phemie Bostock was an inspiration to many in Sydney’s inner west and the Aboriginal arts community.
Her deep love of arts, community and Aboriginal rights was evident to all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was one of the founding members of the Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Cooperative and was exhibited across Australia and the world.
Here we are together at the 90th birthday of Undercliffe Public School back in 2017. I think it’s clear to see how her presence could light up a room.
