Maggie Egan Instagram – I was so happy to be asked for an interview for the wonderful publication in town, The Heart Of Hollywood Magazine about our screenplay “Cupid Fest,” which I co-wrote with Jennifer Jacobs. Then about 9 months ago Kathryn Hollis Peters caught the vision of our movie and came on as a producer. The article outlines our journey. It’s a good thing I’m enjoying the journey because it takes tenacity to keep at it. But we all believe in this movie which tells the story of two Irish American sisters of a certain age, let’s call them “Queenagers,” who’ve been bloodied on the battlefield of love and decide to head to Ireland to cure what ails them. Along the way they learn to be the heroes of their own coming of age story and show us all that the heart doesn’t know how old it is because you can fall in love at any age❣️
