Marg Helgenberger Instagram – William Friedkin was an incredibly bold & brilliant filmmaker. His staggering masterpiece of horror, THE EXORCIST, shook my 15 year old rural Nebraskan Catholic soul to its core.
The fact that a few decades after that wallop of an introduction, I was directed by Billy in a couple of episodes of CSI, and able to pick his brain about the making of that classic film, as well as THE FRENCH CONNECTION, SORCERER, TO LIVE & DIE IN L.A., BUG, will always be a highlight in my career.
