Marnie Alton Instagram – As a little kid I was allowed to rent one movie every Friday night with my parents (from the ‘non-new-release’ section of course 😆) more often than not I’d choose Firestarter. I loved scary movies…especially this one based on a Stephen King novel about an 8 year old girl with supernatural powers that she ultimately uses to take down the secret government agency that destroyed her family & seeks to control her. I watched it a hundred times. I wanted that kind of power👊 It starred @drewbarrymore… Fast forward a couple decades later when our mutual love of fitness brings us together & that little girl I used to watch from my basement in Edmonton becomes one of the most wonderful & supportive people in my life. She inspires me endlessly with her joy, brilliance, superhuman work ethic & tireless effort to make this world a better place while always lifting others up. I’m so grateful for her. Yesterday, on the second season of her amazing show, we got to chat about our love of health & some small things we can all do to help protect it. It was a dream. It was also such a good reminder that just because we can’t see something ‘right now’ doesn’t mean it won’t exist. Some of the very best days of our lives haven’t even happened yet…how cool is that?!
