Megan Le Instagram – I’m completely gutted. It’s so sudden, so senseless, so unfair. Johnny was the epitome of a “stand up guy.” He lived by his sound morals, respect, true kindness and love. He truly gave of himself to anyone in his community. The way he held you with his eyes and energy while in his presence was unique and deeply felt. He’d always walk people to our cars at night, carry around his climbing bag at all times (I’d joke with him “just in case he’s gotta get something up high for someone), and give himself over completely while acting. That’s the man he was. So talented, so giving in life and art and an insanely fun friend. I miss him so much already.
I spent most of yesterday just so angry until I got to be with our acting community who gathered to feel the love he nurtured in all of us and grieve the huge gap left after this senseless act of violence.
We got you bro. We are carrying on for you and going to fight to make these streets safer and to help those who need it. Because that’s what you would be here doing right now if it weren’t for someone’s horrible decision. I really hope you knew how much you impacted this world. I hope you felt the love from all of us. I hope you didn’t feel alone in your last moments. I hope you weren’t afraid.
