I was young and OBSESSED with @nodoubt – Still am, deeply and unapologetically in love with this band, not in a stalker way but man… they defined my childhood bigtime. Don’t Speak wasn’t a breakup song for me at that age, it was a song about telling people to leave me the F alone, about rejecting their expectations. Well. Here’s to missing their concert AGAIN 😳 And just to take a real minute here: Thank you @gwenstefani from baby-me and all the little girls like me who wanted a different kind of rolemodel, a powerful one, one who was beautiful AND whose voice could shake a stadium, one who ran circles around fashion, and noone could keep up.
