As we currently stand on home soil (or sand, really) in the midst of the Cannes Festival, we thought it would be time to share some good news we’ve been, until now, keeping tucked away under our cinema seats.
We are immensely excited to be joining US production company 2:22 Pictures on the upcoming psychological drama “Anatomy of the Sun”, written and directed by @stevenrichterfilm (Raindance ‘Film of the Festival’ nominated feature “Centre of Gravity”).
The film will be headlined by “American Beauty” actress @menasuvari and rising Canadian star @antoineolivierpilon, two members of a grief-stricken family in which the son (Pilon) is haunted by visions of his late sister and strives to piece together the details of her untimely death.
Richter gives us a small taste of the feel of the film by calling it “an immersive visual and sonic narrative experience that blurs reality and the natural dreamscapes of the mind”.
Shooting for the feature is set to commence in fall of this year, with the title being represented by @concourse.media.
