Michelle Krusiec Instagram – Baseball and Internment. Life is coming back full circle. My friend @dan.kwong is recreating history and also commemorating a painful time in Asian American history with baseball. The story has been featured on NPR and @usatoday (link in bio). Manzanar where more than 120,000 JAs were incarcerated will be reawakened for a real baseball game this SEPTEMBER in the same period era style it was played back then during camp life. This moves me so much 😭😭😭 and I plan on attending! Hope you can learn more about internment life, how Japanese Americans endured it all and what baseball meant to them. Please share and attend.
