Michelle Krusiec Instagram – My Dad was on the USS America when I was a kid. I can still smell the steel of the ship when I would visit. It was a massive ship. Dad would bring home USS America hats and bumper stickers. Pop didn’t die while in service, but I grew up in Va Beach surrounded by a lot of military because of his NAVY years. I miss the way we would see our military service men and women out and about and we would always thank them for their sacrifice. Living in LA, there isn’t that same connection here but I’m wishing our service men and women a happy Memorial Day. Remembering those who’ve given their lives for their country.
