Misha Highstead Instagram – A semi-truck driver is VERY lucky to be alive after an absolutely TERRIFYING incident on a Louisville, Kentucky bridge!
A pickup truck smashed into a stopped car and lost control, spinning into oncoming traffic where it hit the big rig. The big rig ended up crashing through the bridge’s guardrail, leaving the cab and half the trailer dangling perilously over the Ohio River!
Dozens of firefighters quickly arrived on the scene, and set up a pulley system on a ladder truck to send one rescuer down to get the driver. And, incredibly, they managed to do it in only about forty minutes!
There’s a reason we ladies love us some first responders!
Amazingly, the semi driver only had minor injuries, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
