Monique Ganderton Instagram – Piper
One of my best friends and sweet Adventurous angel. From the kill list at South Central LA shelter to running wild in Malibu, Vancouver and Georgia. She taught every dog how to dip out, dig under fences and run through mountains. Usually coming home in a few hours but did end up at famed Celebrity rehab Promises once. She sat in first class with me eaves dropping on Sharon Stone and even starred in Hunger games Mockingjay – her phenomenal performance was cut because it took away from the lead actors sadly. 😉They all went on to take photos with her. Piper met the love of her life in Georgia. Brutus (as we called him) would break out of his house and Piper would dig under the fence to go on hours long adventures at my dismay. She always arrived home with a pep in her step (and once with an armadillo) He would drop her off and trot back to his worried parents. Pipers long time best friend Hannah was her voice of reason for their time with me. They snuggled and travelled everywhere together, lake, ocean and many mountain hikes in BC. Piper was the most gentle with kiddos and a spicy scrapper when the time was needed. She befriended Coyotes in every state and I thought she was part coyote at one point. I think she knew how to speak wild with them. Piper, thank you for your friendship, love and keeping me on my toes for your 14 years of life. Love you and I’ll miss you forever.
