Nicole Alexandra Shipley Instagram – Words can’t begin to describe how Incredibly grateful I am to have attended this year’s Tribeca Film Festival as a juror in the inaugural Viewpoints Category. A huge thank you to Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, the unbelievable @nancyellenlefkowitz, and the dream team at @Tribeca for this opportunity and all the support through this year’s festival.
I had the most amazing time working with my fellow jurors Effie Brown @iamfuriousblack @annasophiarobb the wonderful Ben Falcone and Brian Tee and our absolutely amazing Liason @morgane_pichard who took such good care of us. I truly feel blessed to have had such a supportive and creative group to contemplate films with and we all had the best time together.
Along with seeing a slate of films celebrating the most exciting and innovative storytellers, I had the chance to attend Chanel’s Through Her Lens Luncheon celebrating and supporting female filmmakers across our industry. I was surrounded by incredible women and loved being able to celebrate this incredible program with some of my closest friends (@sienaoberman) and other inspiring filmmakers actors and producers, @selmablair , Patty Jenkins, @roxyssorkin and others.
@tribeca is one of the most innovative festivals in the world and truly supports filmmakers from all different backgrounds who are telling stories in so many ways. BRB, pinching myself…
I also want to shoutout my amazing cofounder and dear friend @jeffsobrato and our amazing team at @safespace.pictures @jadenlevitt @michellemlarue and @bignickenergy . We are so blessed everyday to get to develop stories and help incredible filmmakers and am so lucky to do what I do. I love my team and we don’t take any of the work we do for granted.
