What else is possible? Who do we speak up for? And how will we show up for ourselves and one another this time around?
Every year our global community gets closer and the global majority awakens to itself. I feel so connected to our power at large on nights like these. The stories we’ve been told about ourselves in the past can stay there. Lucy Liu’s triumph through fire and pain was such proof of that.
It has been the time to forge intersectional ties and tell stories together. I live and love by that.
