We were lucky enough to be invited to the launch event of O’Curls, Actor and Comedian Ola Roshdy’s new brand that’s giving the curlyheads among you the products you need to embrace the bouncy hair and stray from the straighteners. At the event, O’Curls launched three new products: leave-in conditioner, styling gel, and a water-based activator, all of which are arming those ‘curlyheads’ with the tools they need to tame and embrace their luscious, loopy locks.
“The curly-haired community needs to come together and find something true and authentic that makes them feel confident every day,” Roshdy tells #CairoScene. “O’Curls is a local brand that understands the definition of all types of curls, all us curlyheads.”
The brand aims to inspire love for people’s natural hair, straight from a founder that has never had anything but love for her’s. “I’ve always embraced my natural curls,” says Roshdy. “And I’m so glad I have. My kids see me embracing my hair, and they do the same.” Roshdy now wants to give confidence to others lucky enough to have curly hair just like her self-confident kids.
