Expansion-
Celebrations have been strange and precious for me these past few months. I think same as a lot of people, I have never felt this level of despair at the world in my life. But being with friends and family, holding and being with each other has also been what has filled my tank. On a personal level, there have been many things that I’ve actually been quite happy about that I maybe haven’t given enough space to.
So i guess this is me practising expansion and how to hold both joy and pain at the same time, in a space/world that conditions us to feel either or.
Oh!! I finally figured out my new year resolution: To not lose faith in humanity. lol. because to do so would be to surrender my own. I reject!!
Hug a loved one, send a message to someone you love, buy an e-sim, say something good about someone to someone else, make a donation, share a story, witness, learn, enjoy life, laugh, do something nonsensical, question a held belief, challenge it, grieve for those in pain, grieve for those no longer here, connect with people who care about the same things, hold space, get angry about injustice, get compassionate, listen, do something about what you care about, put on something nice that makes you feel good, remind myself that I am human. Love. Rage. Witness. Grieve. Celebrate. Connect. 🫶🍊🍊
