It’s a “fave moment” as it features a guest appearance (and yes, I was only the third pop artist to have a sung/rapped song collab/guest artist) by my forever dear friend, the incomparable @fathermc4real
Our single hit the top40 pop charts and top 5 club play charts. Our video was in heavy rotation on MTV, VH1 & all other video outlets …it became a huge radio smash all over the U.S and some very important markets overseas and even broke boundaries at major R&B/hip-hop stations like the #1 Urban station in America, @hot97 where it reached the top 5💥
Again, alongside superstars @jodywatley & @janetjackson we STARTED a trend that has become THE standard today.
I’m saying all of this (some of it again) to let you know AND to hopefully, get you VERY excited that @fathermc4real & I will be going back in to the studio at long, LONG last to collab on a full length CD release for 2024…
In the years since our first pairing, Father has become one of the most prolific, popular and HIGHLY in demand & sought after, practically IMPOSSIBLE TO schedule time with, producers/song writers in the entire music biz… it took THIS long bc I had to wait for his availability 🤪😜💯
We are SO excited to make the music and in time, share it with the 🌍
I’m so grateful to FATHER for NEVER wavering in his belief in me & KNOWING we needed to “get back in the studio & finish what we started all those years ago”⭐️🙌🏻🎤
