Aquaman himself 🧜‍♂️, our partner, friend and great supporter of whales 🐋 Hello everybody, I’ve something very important I want to share, it’s happening right now in Iceland. This year, Iceland made a brave decision on June 2th to suspend whaling for the summer, based on animal welfare concerns. Whales were hunted with explosive harpoons, some suffering up to two hours before dying. Two thirds were female and a number were pregnant. The Icelandic government is now deciding whether they can extend the ban into September for the rest of the hunting season. I want to encourage Iceland to maintain the ban on whaling, and to end whaling for good. And I support the Icelandic people who are fighting for healthy oceans and for the whales. Lets celebrate these beautiful creatures and be on the right side of history. All my love, all my aloha. Whales matter. The ocean matters. Please help me. We dont need to be hunting whales.
