I understood that none of the lingerie I have (and I have a lot) makes me feel beautiful and comfortable at the same time. It is easier tacky lacy whatever or a cotton grandma vibes something
– Why do brands produce lingerie for women to impress men with their beauty/body? Why is all the underwear on the market too oversexualized/uncomfortable?
– Why does even expensive underwear (like $1000 ) have a shitty quality and it’s impossible to wear and move in?
And how the fuck am I supposed to feel comfortable and empowered knowing that my underwear is made to please others, not me, and my comfort is compromised? That’s why I launched my underwear brand
My main point is that women’s lingerie should be made for women and their comfort should come first. And it should be made from a perspective of what we, women, see beautiful and stylish
Like, do we actually want to wear tiny rubbing panties and bras with a huge pushup obviously created for men to enjoy our bodies and not for us? Feels like no
So I decided to solve this problem and @nioly.studios is going to be an opposition to the fashion industry
And to bring my underwear line to a luxury level, I decided to create my own couture collection that’s I was doing for more than a year
It will be made from the materials of the main collection. This way I want to prove that couture lingerie can also be wearable and practical
There will be dresses I can wear to the red carpet and events
It will be good for my brand PR because in every interview, when I am asked “Who do you wear today?”, I’ll say “MY OWN BRAND”
Lingerie fashion industry is way too outdated and it needs to be changed. And I’m here to shake it upside down
