Rachel Van Dyken Instagram – Ok so in my defense…it was a long week. 😂
And no I won’t ever live this down.
Nate takes me to dinner downtown we get back to the hotel and @bigsmiles_mikey is like I’ll totally meet you in an hour for drinks.
I’m paranoid so I set my alarm and lay down fully in let’s watch Bridgerton mode.
I wake up and it’s 3 hours later (and no we didn’t party before this, there was tonic water and food so I have zero excuses), and Nate’s like how was that nap? I’m horrified then I check my phone.
Mikey and Nate proceeded to leave me on my last few hours of 38 sleeping while they hung out and told random strangers it was my birthday and asked them to say happy birthday on camera. The world now knows I can’t hang and was sleeping!!!
So then I’m like not today Satan, get up put my shoes on and say we’re going out (it’s midnight) we end up at this bar with people older than me that’s totally dead bc duh it’s late. At this point Nate’s just dying laughing but we ended up seeing both Mikey and Josh after along with the last pic of some drunk people stumbling into us wanting to get in on the fun.
Will I live this down ever? No.
Will I always remember my 39th? Yes.
