One of the craziest decisions I made.
Or should I say, I had to make.
I woke up one day and knew – I just knew – I was going to adopt a dog.
All reasons pointed to the contrary.
But I just had to…
I’m not getting into the sha la la spiritual dimension of this right now…! Let me just say that it has been the best adventure in my life!
Sometimes this talk about dogs resembles the talk about kids, I know.
Well, now her home is where I am and my home is where she is.
So Amélia travels to Mexico City, right beside me in the cabin (very tough and long process to be able to do this but we did it!), in her best behaviour, pampered by everyone she travels with and proving to myself that all we wish does come true! (if we put or minds, words and actions to it..!)
So happy she’s here with me now and always clinging to the certainty that she is not mine, she is with me and I’m grateful for that every single day.
