Excerpts from the cover story: Cosmo: When did you realise ‘I want to be an actor’? RT: I think I always knew. You know, when people started asking me in school ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’…I would watch my mom and think: ‘That’s what I want to be’. But, I never said it out loud, because I wasn’t sure of how I’d feel about admitting it TBH. It is not a very nice world we live in right now— everyone has an opinion about others. If I had said ‘I want to be an actor’ out loud when I was younger, and if someone said something negative, it would have affected me a lot… especially with my family and the legacy that I carry.
