The park is being constructed in close proximity to #HimayathSagar and #OsmanSagar, which are categorized as ‘Liquefaction potential zones,’ posing a seismic risk to constructions due to unstable soil, exemplified by a 1982 earthquake near Osman Sagar. The facility’s substantial waste generation would pollute land and water, endangering aquatic fauna and over 250 bird species relying on the sagars. The problems are manifold. It is time we reject such ill-conceived projects that do not take into account long-term effects and disregard the well-being of everyone. Thanks to everyone for your support.
