Rhona Mitra Instagram – The Irony that out of the 9 dogs currently in our pack which are all rescues and strays of varying breeds and backgrounds unequivocally and undeniably the most sensitive and attentive and easiest to train have been the Thunder Pig Killer Potato’s Auberon and Ludo. AKA the XL Bully ‘Types’ we flew down to our Orphanage of Misfits (sanctuary) here back in January. Those who have been following me know about the UK ban and mass executions so I don’t need to go into details. Suffice to say, having lived with these two lads for four months now if I had my druthers , my absolute number one choice of dog would be a bully ‘type’ (coupled with a Staffordshire Terrier,) every time. They simply are the most wonderful, sensitive, loyal and Funny dogs. It says more about the human who either judges them based on appearance, cultural prejudice (and racism), ignorance and media propaganda, or those who can’t handle them because they can barely wipe their own backsides let alone look after a dog, than the breed themselves. I can hands-down say every second with these boys has been a pure joy. A little bit of work, like raising any child, but pure joy. Testament to the existing pack and a little bit of structure, consistency, safety, no bullshit and guidance from us and we have had zero issues even with the horses and chickens and a new un-neutered Terrier male in the mix… Go figure…. It goes without saying there should be a hefty punishment imposed on anyone dumping and or abusing dogs (of any breed) not to mention backyard breeders. Thank you again @danni.allpaws @uk_dog_protection_team for all you are doing for the dogs back in England. And for everyone else who supported in getting these boys, not only to safety but to a place where they are free and loved and living their best lives possible while being premium example for all their kind. #saveourbullies #banbackyardbreeders @thelastarkorphanage #Thunderpigs #KillerPotatoes #dontbelievethehype
