Rina Sawayama Instagram – TOUR DUMP 1/2! I’ve had the most magical few months closing out the final stretch of touring after a long 18 month cycle of promoting SAWAYAMA and Hold The Girl. Every single show and festival has been SO special, and its so crazy to see how things have grown in such a short space of time. I feel honoured to have performed in front of so many people, doing countless sold out shows across the US, Europe, Australia, Japan and beyond, and its all thanks to u for buying tickets and making trips across to come see me. Live has always been my favourite part of what I do, and so to be able to do this as a job is unbelievable. Every moment on stage is filled with gratitude, and I hope u see that in the shows I create for u. Every night I feel like the luckiest girl alive! I couldn’t do this without my amazing team who are now part of my chosen family, all of us having seen each other more than our partners, families or friends in the last 2 years. Every minute with them is filled with fun, and at the end of every day I’m so tired from laughing all day. Our tour team is quite unique in our closeness, since all 20 of us want to hang out together, all the time, even after spending a whole day cooped up in a bus together. I feel really lucky that I get to make memories on and off stage with these incredible people. I can’t wait to come back out to do a months long tour again!
