dear friends, im so honored and excited to share with you all that VOICES: A Sacred Sisterscape is officially out on ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS. We wanted to make this piece as accessible as possible. It will also be available in public libraries for folks to listen to and share. We hope that you all will be moved and transformed by the listening.
We give thanks to @lafemmebearmusic for her beautiful composition and to @heartofhollis for both working closely with me to bring this project to life. A huge shout out to @_kaylachelsea for her stunning artwork.
There is much more to come with this project as we hope to continue to travel with it and curate live experiences with the stories and voices of this incredible ensemble.
This project is not about my voice or personal story though there are many voices and stories I deeply connect and resonate with. I ask that you give this piece an embodied listening and please share with us how it is showing up for you via @visforvoices
We can’t wait to see the many ways community organizations and collectives, sister friends and aunties, brothers and fathers all use and sit with this work.
