Samantha Tan Instagram – The reason why I’m so open about my faith is because of how real it is to me. I found myself a little beaten again thinking about how maybe I should’ve stayed in the early childhood industry and prayed for God to give me a sign as he always would to comfort me and to assure me that I am still on the right track, or at least that I can seek comfort in knowing that I have Him on this journey I have chosen.
This morning, a parent sent me some two videos of Fred Rogers. I never knew this man, but after learning more about him. I realised that this parent’s text was my prayer answered. Go read up on Mr Rogers and you’ll know what I mean. His accomplishments and his good work truly encouraged me.
Upon googling, I learned that his death anniversary was just a couple days ago. Today, I dedicate this song ‘it’s you I like’ by Fred Rogers, to the man himself and to everyone out there needing a little encouragement. That there’s grace and goodness in this world despite it being so dark these days.
