i’ve had myh in my pocket for a few years. it’s a song about emotional dependency and the pressure of someone making you the source of their happiness, and recognising that it’s not a healthy dynamic for you or for the other person, whilst also letting them know you love them and want them to find their own happiness and joy ❤️
listening to this song brings back a lot, being totally honest i wrote it in one of the saddest worst months of my life trying to figure out a lot of feelings i’ve never felt before. since i first showed you a snippet, so many of you have messaged me asking where it was, i’m so glad you did cus i can listen to it now and love it for everything it is, aka a big pop slay boppity bop
