Sarah Lewis Instagram – One of the gifts of my family is that I was taught a real reverence for the ancestors, and for love as a force—the main force for creating life. To think, we are here because of the love: between two people or the love that they found amidst it all inspires me so.
 
So happy to be back on the island of my ancestors in Montserrat, a tiny, tiny island in the Caribbean , to touch the ground where they walked as I finish a project that has taken over a decade of my life. I love making this time to thank them for the love that made me, and for those acts of love that make us all.
