Spending the day with the one-and-only Eugene Levy for @appletv’s ‘The Reluctant Traveler’ was one of the greatest life experiences I’ve ever had.
It was such an honor (and so much fun!) to show Eugene around Sevilla and experience the Seville derby with him at the oldest peña (fan club) in Spain – La Peña Cultural Bética Puerta de la Carne. And to teach him all about (the real 😉) football.
The cool part – and the magic of fate – he met @hectorbellerin the day before the match. They cooked up a spontaneous celebration should Hector score against Sevilla (which as a full back, doesn’t often happen). But he did, and he celebrated as promised! Sadly, the goal was disallowed, but at least the universe conspired to make it happen. (See second photo.)
Eternally grateful to the @twofourtv team for the opportunity, and to Eugene for being the down to earth, class guy that he is. Hopefully we’ve made a proper football fan out of you.
