10 years ago was the last time I said that to you and got to hear your whimsical response . Since then this day has made me sad as I selfishly thought about how much I miss you and how I lost my big sis and the best friend I ever had.
But for the first time, I woke up this morning realized it was your bday and smiled because I understand now that your physical being may be gone but your spirit never left…. So I’m celebrating your birthday with thoughts of love and memories of laughter and joy
