Sheeba Chaddha Instagram – “क्या-क्या पूछूंगा?” is a question that pops into my mind whenever I go to interview an artist. It was nothing different when I went to interview @sheeba.chadha ji.
The notes that I had made in my diary with my Reynolds Trimax, were of no use after a point.
We are both Dilliwalahs, we spoke about how Taj Mahal 1989 is Sheeba ji’s favourite work so far. And how 1989 was the historically rich year for Delhi.
क्या ही अच्छी बातें हुई थीं। यह पोस्ट लिख रहा था तो वह पोस्ट याद आई जो मैंने मिर्ज़ापुर सीज़न 2 के रिलीज़ के वक़्त लिखी थी। हम कह सकते हैं कि शीबा जी को सिर्फ़ माँ वाले रोल्स दिए गए, इस पर बहस हो सकती है। लेकिन जब आप उन माँओं को देखते हैं, तो आप शीबा जी की एक्टिंग पर हैरान हुए बग़ैर भी रह नहीं सकते।
I take this moment to Thank Sheeba ji, for the interview, for this note(where she calls herself Rasika, because she called me Saksham!), and basically for being the artist that she is.
