You will never be who you were prior to your diagnosis but I promise you, you will eventually be able to look in the mirror and see a much different person staring back at you. She will wear her scars like her favorite pair of jeans. Full of wonder, full of hope, and stronger than you could have ever imagined. It’s going to change you, but you will feel untouchable soon.
There is a power that comes in living with cancer. Hold onto that power and allow it to fuel your survival, your journey and your life.”
This was part of a note an angel in my cancer support group sent that hit me profoundly when I needed it most and I read everyday.
