Rounded out my DC trip with a visit to Rosa Parks Elementary School through @aobfound. These engaged littles not only had great questions, they made some great connections.
Especially one kindergarten girl who shared that her classmate didn’t think she (or girls!) could have a Spiderman pencil.
I’m glad we squashed that nonsense early and reminded all the kids that there are no such things as ‘boy things’ or ‘girl things.’ 💪🏽
