My beautiful Grandmum died early on Wednesday morning. She was a painter and was surrounded by all of her artwork at the end. She would end every conversation telling me to ‘go and make something of myself.’ She loved a 5pm cocktail and any two-for-one special. She took thousands of photos which we found SO annoying but we now have the most treasured photo albums thanks to her. She frequently told me off for talking over my dad but always made sure to tell me she was proud of me. The first picture is taken after her coming to see me in one of the worst plays the Edinburgh Fringe may have ever seen. I think about 5 people came to see it and it was in a hotel basement.
