Tanya Plibersek Instagram – I made this proposed decision after visiting the site and meeting the company. I also spoke with local residents, businesses, environmental groups and Traditional Owners, the Quandamooka people.
There has been very strong community interest in this project, more than 26,000 comments were made on the development when the draft Environmental Impact Statement was open for public comment.
For that reason, I have decided to publish my proposed decision and seek further public comment.
I want to hear from the community — as well as Walker Corporation – before I make my final decision.
