Amy started the foundation in honor of her husband, the late John Ritter, who was American comedy royalty. John passed suddenly from aortic dissection. “The John Ritter Foundation works to fund research, provide education, and raise awareness of thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection.” With education and more research this condition can be survived.
