Update: I still have no knowledge of hair/makeup, still no "real" wrestling boots, wrestling gear evolving. Still don't fit the wrestling mold, but that will ALWAYS be the best part of my journey. Doing things my WAY was NEVER an easy path. Always fighting to change the landscape of women's wrestling. Fighting for RESPECT bc I ALWAYS had something to PROVE. Remembering the reasons WHY I LOVE this business despite all of the setbacks, injuries, heartbreak & a sense of not belonging. I measured my success in small goals & every time I reached a goal, I made a new one. Stayed humbled, hustled & pursued my dream regardless of the negativity that came my way. HONESTLY...I wouldn't change the trajectory of my career thus far, bc at the end of the day, things were supposed to be this way. No matter how hard I tried to gain the success I deserved, the universe had a different path for me. I am still loving & living the dream that I never thought I could achieve. Update: I still have no knowledge of hair/makeup, still no “real” wrestling boots, wrestling gear evolving. Still don’t fit the wrestling mold, but that will ALWAYS be the best part of my journey.
