Short little impromptu camping trip. First one Ol’ RedFord has been on. Camped on two rivers drove up to the ghost town and bumbled up tin cup pass for a mile or so (not enough fuel to make the pass and water at 30” RedFord only has a fording depth of about 24” currently) still had a great time and RedFord was great not a single issue. Surprisingly RedFord gets 15mpg on 37s 5.13 gears and a full load at elevation. Additionally the @mcleod_racing clutch and heavy flywheel make driving and old manual farm truck in the rocks not nearly as much of a chore… win for a stick shift. Plus a got a new camper well, new to me with all of its holes 😂 I never tested the bed size on these trucks after I cut them down so I learned that a shell off of the next gen and up to 96 fit.
