Alfred Hitchcock Instagram – In March 1956, Hitchcock hosted a “Ghost-Haunted House Party” on East 80th Street in New York before he began filming The Wrong Man.
The guest list for this spooky soiree included Warner’s studio executives and reporters who Hitchcock wanted to wow with a fabulously frightening evening. The tombstone-shaped “Cart de Morte” menus featured haunting dishes such as as corpse croquettes, barbecued banshee, ghoulish goulash and formaldehyde frappe.
