Andrea Bocelli Instagram – Often words, the more common and important they are, the lighter they seem, and the more weight they potentially carry. “Thank you” is one, and another that resonates almost everywhere, especially at certain times of year, is “best wishes”. I think words, as long as we fill them with meaning, are blessings (and it is certainly not a question of superstition). I strongly believe that these messages, when they come from the heart, take flight towards others, expressing our wishes and our hopes for those around us… The positive energy sincere well-wishes create always makes our experiences in this life sweeter, lighter and more full of grace. In my beautiful native Italian we say “Auguri”, a word with millennia-old roots in Etruscan and Roman. In its own way, it evokes the transcendent: it indicated the ancient priests’ privileged relationship with the sky, to which they looked to follow the flight of the birds (messengers of the gods) and predict the future. At this special time of year, in whose core message lies the heart of Christianity and in whose meaning humanity finds a renewed meaning and coherence, trust and serenity, I would like to extend to all of you my most affectionate “thank you”, for your support and for the good that you do for others.
