Antonio Villeroy Instagram – Esse é um projeto que tem sido incentivado por muitos grandes músicos ao redor do mundo, concertistas, compositores, instrumentistas.
Eu sempre fiquei meio cabreiro de levar em frente, pois não sou pianista e sempre fiz isso apenas para me divertir.
Algumas poucas vezes, no Brasil, na Áustria e França eu fiz isso em público, para plateias de, no máximo, 800 pessoas, não mais.
Certa vez, me meti em uma fogueira em Viena, tocando piano livre com baixo e bateria.
Virou uma catarse, com o público delirando junto.
Curiosamente, para minha surpresa, essas minhas aventuras musicais sempre foram muito bem recebidas.
Mas nunca quis transformar isso em um produto, seja físico ou digital.
Recentemente, alguns instrumentistas de peso voltaram a me pilhar para que eu faça um álbum com essas minhas experimentações ao piano.
Estou prestes a ceder!
This is a project that has been encouraged by many great musicians from around the world, including great concert artists
I was always hesitant to pursue it because I’m not a pianist and I’ve always done it for fun.
Just as I held my soirées at home, when I brought together musicians to play for pure pleasure, and, no matter how many invitations I received, I never wanted to transform moments of pure fun into something commercial, the same happens with “Crazy Piano”, which has always been more restricted to the private celebrations.
Sometimes, in Brazil, Austria and France, I did this in public, for audiences of up to 800 people, no more.
I once got into a bonfire in Vienna, playing free piano with bass and drums.
It became a catharsis, with the audience going crazy together.
Interestingly, to my surprise, these musical adventures of mine have always been very well received.
But I never wanted to turn this into a product, whether physical or digital.
But recently some great instrumentalists came back to encourage me so I could make an album of my piano experiences.
