There are many words
For having none.
But none that can
Summon them.
To command them
To flow endlessly.
Yet…here, is a word.
And here, another.
I don’t need them
To pour in a flood.
They can trickle in.
Drop by drop.
Motes of water with
Dreams of the Sea.
Finding their way
Through the bedrock
Of me.
I let them all
Trickle in.
And thus do
All rivers begin.
