Growing up, the Punk rock genre of music had a big impact on me. Bands like Minor Threat, Fugazi, Black Flag, Operation Ivy all had a great influence over me (thanks to my older brother introducing me to them) The album covers for Operation Ivy were always an inspiration. Years later I would think back to those early memories and use them as inspiration for my Lost Boy art.
