Ash Thorp Instagram – Its been some time since I have looked at these. I felt it would be fun to dust some of these old drawing off and share them. I first started these as an effort to get back into drawing. That is my core and my root as an artist. Its my first love and first memories of working with art. Something so honest and raw about all of the imperfections that amass when the mind, eye, hand connect. I have over 700 of these sketches. Some are well polished and others are very rough. Perhaps someday I will come back to these. With the dawn of ai image generation I find it even more rewarding and imporant to implement my own artistic voice and imperfection.
