Bhuvan Arora Instagram – “There will be a body transformation and how about we make you a Sardar” were @kabirkhankk sir’s words when he first narrated the film to me. Aside from the fact that I was getting to work with the master of his craft, an actor seldom gets chances like these where he has to go out of his comfortable zone and push his boundaries to create a character on screen that shall live for long after he is gone..
BUT THIS JOURNEY WASN’T EASY..
shooting 4 projects simultaneously and travelling between multiple cities required a lot of effort.. specially when you decide to go clean and don’t seek support of steroids.. but the story we all wanted to tell and the zeal of the team kept us driving..
less than 4 hours of sleep and working out twice every day to achieve the right body type of 7% body fat in LESS THAN 4 months had taken a toll on my health mentally and physically.. calorie deficit was life and boiled food was a ritual.
But again.. we chose this path the day we decided to become actors.

Story of a man who refused to surrender.. Shri #murlikantpetkar survived through bigger hardships and emerged as a winner. Whenever the mind would give up.. I would always think.. our struggles are nothing in comparison to what he saw. So Go watch the film in theatres with your family and and I hope you give back the love with which we made the film.
Also big thank you to @igerryjohn for holding my hand through it being so much more than just my trainer. It’s because of you I had to use No make up and no VFX.. just pure hard work
