“I’ve been friends with Shifty for about three decades. We were all so young with that dream to write songs the world would love and spend our youth playing them for people in faraway places. I remember when “Butterfly” was that massive universal hit; wherever I’d be in the world, I’d hear it playing through the speakers and think of Seth. When you know somebody that long, you really get to watch their story unfold through the light and the dark. It makes it all the more heartbreaking to say goodbye. All the more reason for those of us still here to shine even more brightly and remember Seth as the uniquely beautiful star he was.” – @wesgeer
