Brian Wilson Instagram – Today in 1985, The Beach Boys released their 25th studio album, The Beach Boys. It was produced by Steve Levine, the first Beach Boys album not produced by Brian or the band. Brian wrote or co-wrote four of the tracks, and sang lead with Mike on the hit “Getcha Back.” Outtakes from the album sessions but not released include Brian’s “Oh Lord,” Water Builds Up” and “Down By the Pier.” What’s your favorite album track?
